The ''Association de mise en valeur des bovins de race Canadiennedans Charlevoix'' arose from the will of those involved in the ''Canadienne'' cow dairy sector to favor the development of this breed in Charlevoix.

The members of the Association are: la Laiterie Charlevoix which transforms the milk produced by the herds, the Canadienne cow milk producers, biologistMario Duchesne who acts as General Manager, as well as a few other Charlevoix players interested in this development.

La Laiterie Charlevoix contributes a certain amount for every litre of milk produced. This contribution ensures the long-term existence of the organization.
