Cheddar Charlevoix


Cheddar originates from England. It is the type of cheese that was most commonly made in Quebec in the first half of the XXth century. La Laiterie Charlevoix has been making it since 1948. Today, Cheddar accounts for 40 % of all our production.

Product Characteristics


No crust, brilliant and smooth surface. Firm texture, from smooth to granular. Creamy white colour with nutty flavour, taste gets stronger over time.

Made with pasteurized or thermized (non-pasteurized) milk.
